Join Descartes Labs for a moderated conversation hosted by Sandia’s Entrepreneur Exploration program and AFRL. Descartes Labs, a LANL spinoff, analyzes photos of the globe and compares them, pixel by pixel, to make predictions about anything from crop outputs to the effects of climate change. Hear from CEO Mark Johnson how the company grew out of lab technology at to become a thriving startup with offices in Santa Fe and San Francisco. Today, Descartes has 40 employees and is looking to grow the team to around 50 or 60 by the end of the year and 100 in 2018.
