The Center for Collaboration and Commercialization (C3) serves as a public face for Sandia National Laboratories, providing access to the Labs and building linkages with the community. It’s a place where Sandians and our industrial, academic, and government partners can interact easily and freely, outside the gates of Kirtland Air Force Base. Located in the heart of Albuquerque’s Innovation District, C3 is dedicated to increasing Sandia’s collaboration and commercialization activities.
C3 is an integral part of the Lobo Rainforest Building in downtown Albuquerque. By co-locating members of our technology transfer team with others from University of New Mexico and Air Force Research Laboratory, we are collectively helping to amplify technology transfer impact across New Mexico.
C3 provides users the opportunity to take advantage of the vibrant entrepreneurial and startup ecosystem downtown. Sandia offers the Entrepreneur Exploration program, focused on linking Sandia principal investigators with entrepreneurial opportunities and resources provided by a multitude of partners. This program is designed to invigorate an entrepreneurial culture at the Labs and inspire Sandia researchers to either go into the business world or develop that innovative mindset while at the Labs.
